Well I got elected Student Council this year and I ran for president and got 2nd place so I'm Vice President and here is what my mom had to say.


We have another congratulations that goes to Casey for being elected Vice President of the Student Council at Hillside. This is her second year on student council and she loves being a part of it. Over the last few years, she has really developed a strong sense of self, what she believes, and has become aware of how she can have an impact on others. I love her student council speeches because she's sincere about what is possible and follows through on her ideas. I see her developing an interest in government and history. Unfortunately, there aren't a whole lot of great examples today. A few weeks ago, we were watching (or stomaching) the presidential debates and Casey came in to watch. She had been sitting with us about 15 minutes, and finally said "Oh my word! All they're doing is burning each other and neither one has said exactly what they are going to do." Out of the mouths of babes. She's the one of our three kids who takes a great interest in elections and politics (not sure where that comes from). Maybe one day she'll help change the world. Let's hope so.

First Snowfall

Today we had our first snow fall! Not FUN!!!!!!! We already have 5 months of snow we don't need more. None of the snow actually stuck though it just melted but its 40 degrees not snow weather. I couldn't get any pictures of the snow though because my camera just wouldn't get the picture. While I was trying to get a picture Stormy our gray kitten ran outside so I chased after her and got her. But now she is all wet and cold. For me I"m just a little wet. Oh and for all my relatives who live in Florida "NO FAIR!" (They have 80 degree weather.)

My Field Trip to Camp St. Croix

The ummm forgot the name but you hold on to your partner and you and them climb across a cable not even an inch in width or length. And if you fall, you are on a harness and a rope.
Us trying to get across. And get this Kinsey and I made a plane that at the end we would reach for the rope and I would grab onto her hand and she would miss the rope and we both would fall. Which there is a video about under the pictures but it is loud and noisy so you might want to mute it.
My friend Mariah and I going on the commitment bridge. You still are on the cables and you hold eachothers hands and the wires grow farther and farther apart and the end is about 10 feet across.
These are some other people in our group but that's how high we were. (*faint*)
Here is the same thing but I was with a partner and she was about 4"9 so we fell almost right away.

The Minnesota Zoo

This is my zoo journey. It was kind of cold so all the animals were active and actually played and we saw them up close. As I said it was cold so we didn't walk the whole outside and not really anything inside ( We save that for winter) So we rode the monorail around the outside. But here are some pictures that I took. Modest is the Hottest

Well my mom said I should give fashion tips. So here I am blogging about fashion. Well just follow these simple tips for a cute back to school outfit.

1. Never show bra straps etc. It's DISGUSTING not attractive
2.Wear clothes that fit not so tight we see your stomach but not so big. Say you're a size small but you buy an extra large
3.Wear something appropriate not showing too much skin
4.NO SHORT SHORTS OR TO TIGHT
5.Express yourself in your clothes if you are tight on a budget go to Walmart or Target .They still have cute clothes but buy GIRL stuff we don't don't need guy clothes NO EXSEPTIONS! WE ARE GIRLS
6.Always match your clothes with jeans or khaki anything goes. With say pink only some stuff goes.
7.My fave: always accessorize (earrings, necklaces, anklets, bracelets, headbands hair clips and hats)
8. NO SUPER SHORT MINI SKIRTS
9.Wear cute and comfy shoes(NO BOY SHOES)
10.Do your hair cute, a simple pony, updoo, wear it down, piggy's or anything else
